Washington Engage is a non-profit organization designed to unite local activists and organizations through collaboration in an effort to preventing human trafficking in our state They have set-up a number of coalitions throughout Washington State. One of those coalitions is located right here in our community, Thurston County. We were honored to be to sponsor their first large fundraising event – the Race Against Trafficking 5K. We were on hand, with several Washington Health Employees participating and completing the course, with its meanderings through Tumwater Historical Park and the walkways around the southern part of Capitol Lake.
